John Mothersole

Experience

Having started my career in Financial Services with Barclays in July 1989, I joined MDG in April 1998.

Throughout this time, I have built up a wealth of experience offering clients a bespoke service, making sense of their financial circumstances and explaining solutions in an easily understandable way and from this, I have found that most new clients are primarily referrals from existing clients.

How my advice process works

  • An initial meeting, conducted free of charge, gives you the opportunity to discuss the issues and concerns that you are seeking further advice on, and gives us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other.
  • I will then gather together both hard and soft financial facts about your personal and/or business circumstances, which will then be used to form the basis of any advice offered.
  • In order to provide any advice on investments or pensions, we will also need to discuss your attitude to investment risk.
  • Any subsequent advice will be presented to you in a report which we can then discuss, providing me with an opportunity to answer any questions you may have, before we proceed further.  This report is presented in an easy to understand, jargon-free format.
  • As both personal and business circumstances will continue to change, I offer regular reviews to ensure you stay on track to meet your short, medium or longer-term financial objectives.
