Experience

I have been involved in Financial Services since 1996 and have progressed from various roles including a mortgage consultant, to become a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner. With these qualifications, experience and in-depth knowledge, I specialise in providing expert advice to individuals on their investments and pensions.

At Myers Davison Ginger, I have been managing clients finances since 2000, with the objective of building a long-term realistic financial plan, in which I can help and guide you by providing simple understandable advice tailored to your financial plan.

I understand that everyone is different and when it comes to financial planning, my role is to take away the anxiety that often comes with money.

I do this via a series of steps:

Understanding you – I will take time to get to know you and what you wish to achieve. The process is designed to give a structure, so we focus on what is really important to you.

The foundations – I will collect information I need to build your plan, including your income and expenditure, your net worth, your attitude to risk and your ability to take risk, as well as detailed information on your current investments, pensions and protection policies.

Building the plan – We can then start to implement your Financial Plan to provide tailored advice aimed at providing you with solutions to achieve your objectives. You will receive written recommendations, taking into account your personal situation.

Review and Ongoing Monitoring – We will have a yearly face-to-face meeting, and review where you are in regard to your Financial Plan, what has happened over the last year and what changes can be made within the next year. By providing regular reviews and being on hand whenever you have a question, it is much more likely that you will stick to your Financial Plan and have the outcome you desire.

I provide on-going support to clients to ensure their Financial Plans remain relevant and their bespoke goals are achieved.

More recently, I have completed the Kinder Institute training course to become a Registered Life Planner. This is where advisers should discover a client’s most essential goals in life before formulating a Financial Plan. As what is really important to the client isn’t their money, it’s their life.
